yep. still got dual monitors... i'd rather have this minor annoyance than only use one monitor. i'm surprised more people aren't using dual monitors and encountering this problem.

I understand... I have one server and three clients, and one of those is setup with dual monitors.

Do you by chance do anything on the monitor while you watch a Netflix movie on the TV?

I just wondered. On my dual screen system, whenever I do anything on the second monitor, it will kick the Netflix movie out of full screen. So for me its no big deal as it wouldnt stay in fullscreen anyway.

Other than the installation issues you had, what other problems are your or others having? I have not found any other issues with RC1 so if you do find one please let me know so I can fix it before I publish 1.0.

just starting to use RC1, so not sure if I am doing something wrong, but cpl of observations.
    1) When I use the remote to try to rewind it jumps to start of show. If I use the mouse I can slide the bar and it shows "chapter" or scene selection boxes. I cant seem to do this with the remote

    2) When a show ends and I get a "you just viewed xxxyyy" message do you want to view the next episode? popup from netflix the UI seems to lock. no remote control and no keyboard control. I have to reboot and wait then I can select the next show. If however I do not wait for the credits to end and press stop I return to the episode selection screen and all is well.

Again, Fantastic job and great application. This application and the new HUlU desktop short cut are the anchors for my HTPC. I do not have cable so just ATSC and these two applications have me very happy with my new HTPC!!!
    Thanks...:D:D:D:D:D

    Hey Winterescape,
    Thanks for the feedback!

    1. I know this is kind of a cludge, but the RW & FF dont actually work like the typical RW & FF functions should. The FF button will pace the mouse cursor forward about 5 minutes, and the RW will pace the mouse cursor back about 5 minutes. No matter if you first hit the RW or FF button, it always starts at the beginning of the timeline. You can repededly hit the FF button until you get to the part of the show your looking for, but if you go too far you can hit the RW button to take you back on the time line. Think of it more as a cursor that takes you up and down the timeline moreso than an actual FF & RW. Once you play around with it a little you will understand what I mean.

    2. This issue is probably outside my control. Once the browser window opens, other than script commands I do not have any control over pop-ups or other functions of the browser. One thing to think about and maybe try, if you hit the chapter forward button before the episode is finished, it should automatically skip you to the next episode in the series. You can do this anytime during playback. Chapter Forward will skip you to the next episode and Chapter Previous button will take you back an episode.

    Thanks again!
    Wile E.

With Watch Now episodic series, I've noticed that all episodes show regardless of the disc that I choose. For example, 'The Office', season 2. I think it has four discs, regardless of the disc I go into, all episodes show.

Not a big deal, some may like it that way.

I guess if that's intended, maybe skip the section where I choose a disc and just list all episodes.

    Hey Killdashnine,
Yea, this is a catch 22 for me. Some like it one way, others like it the other. The Netflix API returns all episodes no matter what disc you select, so that is by design. As far as not showing the discs, if I remove that functionality then folks will not be able to add indiviual discs to their DVD queue and as you probably know some series have many discs.

I could, however, skip over the Disc view while you are browsing your Instant Queue if everyone (or the majority) think it is a good idea. It makes no difference to me either way :)

Updates are looking great! I was recently messing around with my PlayNow queue and I found a strange issue, maybe others have seen it?

I added some movies to my PlayNow queue and they show up in the plugin, but they don't have the red dot indicating that they are available as play now. When I click "play" or "ok" as I would any other PlayNow movie, they won't play. BUT if I hit "i" and select "play" they do play. I first noticed this problem on the last version of the plugin I was using (.5 I think), so I deleted all those files and installed RC1 and still have the issue. Not much of a problem, but a bit inconsistent.

It may just be an issue with me. Some of the movies that are doing this include: "National Lampoon's Stoned Age" "A Boy and His Dog" "Being Ron Jeremy" "You Don't Mess With the Zohan." Similarly the movie "Saint Ralph" appears as a play now video in my queue on the NetFlix webpage and has the "Play" button there, but in MP plugin it gives the "not available for playnow" error message. I'm guessing that it is simply misplaced by Netflix on the webpage.

Thanks again for the great plugin!

    Hey dcwp,
Thanks for the feedback! Thank you for the list of movies, I will play around with it tonight and try to get to the bottom of the issue.

Edit: Quick question, when you deleted the old version, did you by chance also delete your MyNetFlixDatabase database?

I'm ok either way, just something I noticed while messing around last night.

    Looking good. Thanks.
