Has anybody upgraded to Silverlight 3 yet and used this plugin?
Do things look any better with the new hardware video acceleration available? Can the video acceleration be utilized?
Just curious.

BTW, I use your plugin on a daily basis WileECoyote. Love it.

Microsoft seems to have pushed the update to 3.0.40723 today if you have auto updates turned on. Looks about the same, I had hoped it would better use video hardware and eliminate the horizontal lines in fast moving scenes that I observe...

In Vista it resides under C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\database. The name of the database is NetflixDatabase.db3.

The Readme.pdf instructions on the first page says the following:
a. Copy the files from the MediaPortal folder in the package to your MediaPortal folder.
b. Copy the files from the NetFlix_Remote folder in the package to your Program Files folder.
The RC2a file you refer to I assume is the MyNetflix RC2a.mpi file. How do I copy files from an mpi file. I think the pdf is referring to a zip file like the MyNetflix RC1.zip file. This is the reason for my original confusion.

Thx WileECoyote for your reply. The readme.pdf now has a better explination to install the MPI, unfortunately I done show a MediaPortal Plugin Installer in my Start menu. I do have MediaPortal Extension Installer that looks for MPE files. I went ahead and entered the MPI file and it did install but unfortunately when I click on Authorize it gaves the same error as before. Any other suggestions?

Wonderful plugin, thanks!

Couple of things I noticed. Don't see an easy way to Fullscreen within the Netflix player; currently shifting my Firefly to "Mouse Mode" to choose that.

Appears to be a bug in that when I do a People Search (example: Mel Gibson) and I try to play a found Instant selection it won't start. However the same movie found other ways (say, by Genre) WILL play.

problem with RC3test DVD queue

First off, let me say that this plugin is awesome. I just installed MediaPortal yesterday for the first time after mostly having used XP WMC for the past few years, and it's been amazingly easy to get most things in working order.

However, I did notice something weird with the Netflix plugin (RC3 test version). I followed the instructions for setting it up, and for the most part it is working. I assume I don't have to delete any databases since I'm using it on a fresh MediaPortal install.

Anyway, I have instant queue set as the default queue, but I can't navigate to the DVD queue with the remote, and even if I used my mouse to hit the DVD queue button, the DVD queue doesn't load. It also seems odd that there is a combobox selection under the DVD queue button that is completely blank. I can't select a user in it and if I hover over it with the mouse cursor, the "New Releases" button actually highlights instead of the combobox itself.

The instant queue is working perfectly though and I can watch and rate videos on it just fine.

Attached is a screen of what the plugin looks like on my computer.

I'm running RC2a....I think that area is where your account selector normally shows. I had to add TWO accounts before I could proceed at all; did you add more than one account? Just curious if it'll show properly if so. I'll have to try RC3 I guess.

So let me make sure I understand what is happening. You installed the MPI file, and at the end you checked box for configure plugin. Then when you click the Authorize button it gives and error and closes? Have you tried going into MP Configuration, enabling the My Netflix plugin, and trying to configure it there?

Do you have sub accounts set up for your DVD queue?

Nope. Is there normally a button to Fullscreen or should it be doing that automagically?

When you open a movie, the script should click on the 'Full Screen' button as soon as it appears. Are you running the Silverlight player?

That is correct. I reied Authorize in MP Config and got the error. I I also tried uninstalling, reinstalling but get "Invalid Package!". I'm running XP MCE 2002 SP3.

You did say you have Framework 3.5 installed?

I have validated this issue, good find! I have corrected it and it will be in the next release...
