I am not sure what autokey scripts are. Is there something I can check on / read up on?

I used Firefox and IE8 outside of MP and things ran fine. When I put in the path to both browsers in the settings, things ran jerky just like the custom browser. I also noticed that my MCE remote would not control the movie, only the Stop key exited the movie and went back to MyNetflix.

AutoHotKey scripts are what control the movie after it starts (Pause, FF, RW, etc...) The scripts intercept commands from the keyboard in order to perform a specified keying sequence. In order for it not to affect the regular MP operation, I only start the script when a movie starts, and kill the script when the movie stops (Stop is pressed on the remote.) When you mentioned that you couldnt enter certain keys when entering your Netflix credentials, it sounded like you already have some kind of autohotkey script running. And since you cannot use the remote to control other functions it really makes me think you have something running that is intercepting the commands from the remote. Im not positive that is happening, just something to check for...

As far as the jerky video, are you running many other plugins? It seems the jerky video only happens when MP is open? I had a similar incident where TV video was jerky on one of my machines, and I tracked it down to an issue with Moving Pictures. I set up a shared database for my movies as well as thumbs and that was causing the issue.

I just installed the NetFlix plugin (1.0?).

When I attempt to watch an INSTANT movie I get the NetFlix browser and this error:

Page Not Found

The requested page /WIPlayerCommunityAPI was not found.

Any ideas?

can you Authorize MyNetflix to run on two separate PCs? I am getting an error on my second computer when I try to authorize it.

WrapNetflix.NetflixException: Timestamp Is Invalid ---> System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.

i'm a toolbag, i googled my output and found the answer in this thread, i'm an idiot.

Sorry for the delay, I have been out of town.

Your logs show that a database (doesnt specify which) is having an issue. Could you do me a favor and delete your NetflixDatabase and see if that clears up your issue?

I'm not seeing a NetflixDatabase file. I have searched all my hard drives for any file with netflix in the name and the only results are XML's, PNG's, two DLL's MyNetFlix and WrapNetflix, two EXE's for netflix_control and netflix_player, and then two Prefetch files NETFLIX_CONTROL.EXE-182433C4.pf and NETFLIX_REMOTE.EXE-0CFE2A57.pf. If one of these is the file I'm supposed to delete, let me know. Otherwise, the database file seems to be missing. I have tried removing movies from my Instant queue in MP and that works. Nothing fills in the empty spot though. My DVD queue is staying up to date with my Netflix account.

No worries, your not an idiot, Netflix authorization is very picky about the time. Im glad you quickly found the resolution...

On Vista the NetflixDatabase is located in the c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Database folder. Im not sure where it is located on XP, maybe one of the XP users can chime in here...

Yes, I was getting the error message for every instant movie.
Good call on trying to watch it directly via the web browser. I had not "installed/activated" Microsoft SilverLight on my HTPC. What I did was attempt to watch an instant NetFlix movie via my web browser (Mozilla/FireFox) and it prompted me to install and activate. Now it's working fine. Thanks!

I rebooted my machine and now I am getting the error again. I am able to watch it in the browser but not from MP.

Open media portal configuration
In the top left, select the drop down that is labeled “user config files”
From this list, select the “open user database directory”
There should be several files all ending in db3, one named mynetflixdatabase.db3
Delete that file

instant view won't update

kind of an odd issue with mine, i have movies in my instant queue, and i can see them in the plugin. but when i add more movies to the queue, it doesn't update my list in my plugin. now when i remove a movie from my instant queue, it removes it from my plugin list.

is there something that i am missing here on how to get the newly added movies to show in my list?
