Sorry - what do you mean by "values"?

The whole thing is still behaving flaky. Just had one of the videos stop working. I did a re-scan on the internet for Movie Details, updated the record and it started working again.

Can't remember if this was mentioned by myself or others, but would it be possible to allow the field we select to specify the filename of the file to use ; seperated multiple filenames. This would give the same multi-disk icon (as used in MyVideos / XBMC) when going to the films own screen and obviously play them in order (as a playlist I guess?). I see the path to search for filenames in the setup uses this method for multiple entries. I currently have to use film (1) and film (2) as 2 sep entries which is a bit ugly.

Just installed v3 in mp 0.2.2.0 all looks good.
This issue I reported earlier "if you select view by year (same for genre, actor etc) and select a year, if you then press back to choose a different year you are thrown back to the mediaportal root menu" has been fixed, excellent that used to really bug the hell outta me!

Thx for time u spent on best movie plugin I've used by miles (and I've tried 'em all). Will test more and report back any issues. No report = no issues. I will upload my Ant scripts for tv.com and amazon covers to ant forums soon. Cheers

Anybody else noticed that MyFilms V3.0 doesn't work with the latest SVN:s?
Says that the plugin is incompatible with current MediaPortal version.
Or is it just me?

I just tested latest svn and you are right, it does give error in config and not load in main, but a few other plugs also give errors in config so it may just be a dodgy svn.

[MyFilms] v3.0 - Error with latests SVNs

You are right, the pluin is incompatible with latest SVNs (since SVN 12486 02/01/07 I think...). Some changes have been made by the Core Team and few standards functions used in my plugin migrate from the Core.dll module to Utils.dll's one.

Many plugins are in the same case....

So I need to attach the new version of those dll to my plugin and recompile it... and unfortunately deliver two versions of my plugin because in that case, the new one is incompatible with version stable 2.2.0 and fewer ;-(((
Tests are in progress and the nex version'll come soon...

Any chance of adding multiple filenames (as in my prev post) if your doing new versions like:-

m:\The Matrix.01.avi ; m:\The Matrix.02.avi

(both files stored on same dvdr)

cheers for great work

Oh yer I forgot to mention that there's a small bug with genres. I had 2 genres 'Music' and 'Musical'. When you select Musical it shows all the entries for Music as well. I had quite a lot of these and had to rename my genre's to work around it as fas as possible. I presume you are locating matching records Using Like '%genre%' so looking for Music in genre field matches on those containing Musical or similar

I figure as the genres are comma seperated, if an additional comma were added at the very end then you could match on Music<comma> and Musical<comma> which would solve this problem. I dunno if it's feasable for you to add commas on the fly to the genre field without writing them back to the xml file. There'd need to be no spaces before commas either though that isn't usual anyway. Maybe GLOB OR REGEXP can achieve better results leaving the genre list as is but SQLite syntax is confusing.

Maybe an option 'Genres comma teminated' in config which if switched on would force the Like to use '%genre,%' Then we can just append a comma to all our genre fields using a simple append comma script in ANT (and ensure no spaces before commas). That would require a minimal change to your code. I'll paste in an Ant script here to do the genre field mangling (remove pre comma spaces/ensure single comma on end) if you want as I already have similar stuff written.

In the next version put the mst3kroqs's Blue Two Wild skin also, please. It works fine.

Brilliant plugin, really good work. However, like HappyTalk I really think the one huge feature that is missing is the inability to load multi-part movies.

There seems to be a couple of ways you could do this,

(1) read multiple filepaths from a field separated by a ";"

or,

(2) read a directory from the field and load all video files contained in the directory (probably more suited to my setup, and not as flexible).
