Can I change plugin title for menu?

Hi -

First of all - great plugin, and my compliments on your effort.

The subject says it all.

While it is a small point, this is the only negative 'ding' on the WAF, and I'm wondering if it would be possible to allow us to specify in the plugin configuration what the plugin title is to be used on the Home/Main Menu screen?

In my case, I would like to it to say "My Movies", for instance.

"MP-TV Series" plugin did this, and it is a very nice feature.

Thank you!

Ask and you shall receive!

The attached versions of the .xml should work OK with BlueTwo wide and MePo Green wide. I am also working on a version for Razor wide. These are 0.2.1.0 compatible/tested, can't swear to SVN functionality.

Just extract the attached files to your BlueTwo wide and/or MePo Green wide skin directories. Don't forget to copy the extra .png's that zebons provided with the plugin to the Media directory for each skin, and you can use the same Media .png's that zebons provided for BlueTwo for the wide version, however for MePo Green wide, do the following:

1) Copy 'amclogo.png' from the My Films plugin distribution skin Media folder into the MediaPortal\Skin\Mepo Green wide\Media folder.

2) Make copies of the following files to new filenames in MediaPortal\Skin\Mepo Green wide\Media:

skipback_enabled.png -> Films_first_focus.png
skipback_disabled.png -> Films_first_nofocus.png
skipforward_enabled.png -> Films_last_focus.png
skipforward_disabled.png -> Films_last_nofocus.png
play_enabled.png -> Films_next_focus.png
play_disabled.png -> Films_next_nofocus.png
back_enabled.png -> Films_prior_focus.png
back_disabled.png -> Films_prior_nofocus.png

NOTE: You are making renamed copies here, you are not deleting the old files.

This makes for some fairly-inflated versions of grassynoel's navigation buttons, but at least they match the skin style.

And now for the warranty statement: Yeah right. :^) I have only tested with these two skins (MePo is my favorite), but they do seem to work OK here.

Enjoy!

Frustrated!

Can't figure this one out.

Been happily ripping DVDs to XVID on a remote server machine \\htpc.

Some of them work and others do not! I can't determine what the variable is. I click on the title and nothing happens. I add it manually to the "My Videos" database and it works fine. So it is not the player.

Tried various versions of MP.

Using standard Blue skin.

Anyone else seeing this?

Some more info on this.

I can get it to work by editing one of the database records that actually works. I'll rename the file in MediaLabel (my Ant Item for Storage File Info) and replace it with the filename of the non-working AVI. I can then get the AVI to fire up by clicking on this button in My Films.

Fixed my little problem

Seems that I must have an image associated with the database record.

I gave the problem AVI an image an it works.

Strange.

Can you tell your final values in your AMC database ? No matter about values in the MP Video database, values are always updated from the AMC XML file values.
