Now I think that there is to much info on "Moving Pictures Filmstrip"
I think it was nice as it was b4, but I only missed "genre".
If I want extra details I can just push "ok" and it will come on next screen.

I know its impossible to get all satisfied,
So it up to you Cul8er, you have done a great job.

This is the best skin ever...
Keep up the great work.

I really like that look to, and that screen was actually my inspiration for the original layout with title and tagline below ;( Ok, I'll revert back to Title and genre and perhaps tagline

camoura: TV Series doesn't have thumb views, only list + poster view, wider banners view and filmstrip view. Also, when enough people disagree with the author, hey, that's what user mods are for.

I meant wide banner view instead of big thumb view.

I guess I need a crash xml course.

That looks great, but without the tagline would be even better IMHO. Some TV's overscan, so a little more "air" will be needed for many users.

It's not super-hard to do this if you have existing graphics/.xml files. It mostly involves changing posx and posy numbers, or cutting out parts that you don't want. If the author has put nice <description> tags into the code, it's even easier.

It's kinda tedious work though, as you have to start MediaPortal, look at your changes, close MediaPortal, delete your cached files, change files, save and start MediaPortal, look at your changes, etc. I even broke my TV Series database doing this a couple of months back in some SVN that didn't close plugins correctly. But it was well worth it in the end.

I just did a clean install of mediaportal 1.02 and xfactor r191 but I'm missing the weather window on the home basic screen.

Weather plugin is working fine.

Any ideas of what's going on?

Hi camoura,

This is not caused by the skin. It has been several reports of users using different skins. Solutions has been different but some have;
1. Make sure rss ticker plugin is enabled
2. Make sure you have set a city in the weather plugin
3. Start MP and enter weather
4. Close MP
5. Start MP again and after a while weather appears in basichome.

I have no idea if this will work or not but it is the solution I have seen other use. Some users has done nothing and then suddenly after two hours it works....
