Re: Pandora MusicBox 1.2.2

First off great plug in. My question - has anyone gotten their harmony one to change stations? I know it's f9 on the keyboard but it's not an option that I have seen in my remote setup. Any help or idea? TIA

On my harmony, I press the Info botton that brings up the context menu. From there, you can select your desired station. This is a common way to get to additional options / choices in most of the Media Portal modules and plugins. HTH.

By the way, you cannot create stations from within Media Portal. You must use a browser to log into Pandora to create stations. These will then be accessible from with Media Portal.

Thank could either of you tell me what the info button is originally assigned as? When I first set it up I used the info to actually start media portal

The info button is assigned to what ever you programmed it to be in the first place. It says info under the command selection. You can set up a soft key to start mediaportal. The media button should also start media portal.

Seems to be working fine for me. Post some debug logs and I will investigate your problem.

First off, just want to say i love this plugin, so thanks for the great work you guys have done with it :D

I'm curious as to whether or not there is any plan to add in the "shuffle" functionality (where playback shuffles between your various stations) that you can get if you go to Pandora's website. Unless I missed it somewhere, and it's already included...

as i said, just curious, keep up the awesome work :)

There are a lot of features we would like to add and station shuffling is on the list. I am a bit lacking on free time lately though so I can't really promise any time frame, sorry. :(

    Re: Pandora MusicBox 1.2.2

I have been using MediaPortal with the StreamedMP skin for a while now and just recently thought to look for a pandora plugin. The first time I tried opening Pandora MusicBox after installing, it seemed to be working - I could see the album art and a moving progress bar - but I didn't hear any music. My stored videos and music play fine so I don't think it is mediaportal related.

So I found that I had an older version of the StreamedMP skin so I updated. Now I actually get an error message when I try to open the plugin "Oops! Pandora MusicBox ahs encountered an unexpected error! Please pardon our growing pains! Activex control '6BF52A52-394A-11D3-B153-00C04F79F." If I keep trying to open the plugin I get the same message but sometimes the message goes away and I see the background and some music seems to have tried to play. In the background I see this: "Missing or ivalid file: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\StreamedMP\PandoraMusicBox.xml"

Thanks for all your hard work. I can tell a lot of people are enjoying your plugin...
