    Hi there,

I've tested VC1 (BD) playback on MP and found out that Cyberlink Video Decoder isnt using it's dxva capabilities in MP
It's working in Graphstudio and MPC-HD and anywhere else. I made all the settings and double checked the registry but no success. I allways was a bit chary about bug reports since I'm using an unsupported setup (MDA**).

I still hope that you can help me since I'm out of ideas ..

I think you mean MePo does not use HW decoding for VC-1 :)

I can confirm this issue, by some reason, PDVD decoder always fall back to SW decoding, but only for VC-1.
    No problem with h.264.

I have add this part of code to select DXVA/HAM/SW maybe i did something wrong.
So it only happen on VC1 and H264 is ok (that mean the registry is set correctly right ?)
    Thanks :)

Yes. h.264 is OK, VC-1 fall back to SW.
I tested to rename Graphstudio to MediaPortal.exe to confirme that registry are set correctly. And DXVA was working for both, so it must be something in MePo.

I've tried to add the key clvc1dec with the subkey mediaportal to the registry and then added both dword values but no success.

Start video in MePo, connect graphstudio, open Video out pin in PDVD decoder and look for "BiCompresion". There will be YUY2 if DXVA is not in use.
