Pictures are not rotated according to EXIF code (1 Viewer)

    Maybe something change on win8.1 recently, i just rescan my db too (win 8.1) and the few pictures i have for rotation seems to work.
    With your log if you can share 2 or 3 pistures.

    I will send the logs as soon as possible. Are you testing 1.7.1hotfix? Could it be that something did not get to the final release?

    yep 1.7.1 hotfix (own build version for wip other branch but picture should be ok).

    Tested, I cant seem to reproduce. using 1.7.1 hotfix.

    I just executed the update to 1.7.1 hotfix.
    Then I added the Testfolder just prior to the debug session.

    OK, did some more more checks.
    Turns out that when copying the pictures, the new copy is displayed correctly.
    My assumption is then that clearing picture database does not really clear it.
    I attach logs of running MP right after clearing pictures database.
