Mannianen,
Great plugin!!! I am able to stream to remote laptop via VLC. But I'm trying to get this installed into Nokia 5800. When I go to WebUI and dowload the provisioning file, it only installs Piiptv (mytvserver) under Video Feeds. It trys to connect but says "Video list not updated." Shouldn't I have LiveTV and VOD installed as well? What am I missing? I read your instructions over and over.

dorijan,

I'am using VLC 0.8.6f for AVC. If you don't use AVC, then you can use newer VLC also.

I hope that they can fix VLC AVC crashes for 1.0.0 version.

audball,
From advanced settings have you selected clip convert?
If clip convert is not selected then in provisioning file VOD -part is dropped away.

What SW version of N5800 you are using?
you can check that using *#0000# :)

Are you using authentication? That might be one thing to check.
Try without authentication. And if that works then enable authentication and you can click provisioning file again to update passwords to phone. (phone should also ask username/pw if authentication fails)

Mannianen,
No Clip convert is not checked. I am running ver. 20.0.14, which is the latest version for US. Also no authentication is enabled. The provision file installed a Piiptv Video feed link to "http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:5050/PiipTemp/PiipTvGroup.vcfg" I don't have that file PiipTvGroup.vcfg. Is there a reason why the plugin did not generate this file? Attached is my provision file.

Mannianen,
That worked!! I got Piip Live TV, VOD Stream, and VOD Download now on my 5800. Now I need to figure out the best VLC settings for this phone. Will test more.....

Thanks again,

Aud
