When I go to Play DVD, and I have a DVD going, I get the FBI warning, the MPAA rating, then it goes to the menu. However, there is no cursor indicator on the menu. There's no way for me to select play/scene selection/etc.

Yes you are right. I just replied to an already existing thread. I guess this should be moved.

As much as I know this problem is known and common. Anyway, I will do as you suggest and send logs as soon as possible.

    error description:
    1. Start mediaportal in fullscreen mode.
    2. Insert a DVD and play it.
    3. The DVD menu screen appears. Pressing arrows to navigate does the click sounds, but does not highlight the chapters. It works fine if you guess where you are by counting the key pressing.
    4. Navigate to any chapter and press ok.
    5. Press DVD Menu on your remote. You are back to the menu screen and the correct chapter is now highlited.
    6. Trying to navigate you see that highlighting of the chapters still does not work.
