just installed and when i go to configuration.exe / and open the plugin configuration it gives an error saying it could not find dll 'xpcom'
running win7, and geckobrowser is installed and working.

Hi Gixxer,

check if followind directory exist:


C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\xulrunner

under
C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache should be the zip with the dir content.

anyhow -> -> -> ->

PLEASE SET LOG VERBOSITY TO DEBUG IN THE MP SETTINGS AND ATTACH THE LOG FILES

EDIT : the xpcom thing should be fixed now , download 0.2.1

I've the same problem with v0.2.0.0 and I can't uninstall it in order to update the new 0.2.1.0. In Media Portal Extension Installer don't appear the old version, but It exist en Plugins of Mediaportal Configuration.

¿How to uninstall the old version? I don't like to have remains of a failed installation.

i have a Problem with the Browser. They did'nt start They show me this Message:

Google could not be found. Please check the name and try again

Which setting use the plugin? The Browser settings? I use a Proxy at home.

Can anyone help

He Horst,

proxy support is ready now. You can set a http server/port and enable/disable the proxy in the settings.
I already submit the new files. (v0.2.2).

@all:
Still I do not have any clou, why the IDs sometimes missing. I installed the plugin on 4 different machines without any problem.

The only thing I noticed is, you need to run the mediaportal setup once yourself if you do a "clean" install. Once it has been installed one time it is enough to do it after an update through the installer.

So please can somebody do a log for the IDs ?
