Any idea when MP2 will get the features from in the release version?

This feature is on hold because it's waiting for changes in other parts of the MP2 server. At the moment it's not possible to estimate when it will make it into a release.

Try MediaPortal 1 and you will have a working MPExtended.

@henso @regeszter thanks for information. Which version of MP2Extended is installable as plugin and working with aMPdroid? Just want to add, edit und delete timers for recording - no streaming or anything else.

Will wait for the release version because I don't want to have the work twice and switch back to MP1 ;-)

Only the builds in this thread are available AFAIK. You can try to tag some of the users that tested them or ask the author (@FreakyJ ).

Hi,
just copied the contents of MP2Extended.rar to the Server Plugin Folder and restarted the Service.
Just can't find the Plugin listed in the TV Configuration and the PluginManager does not find the plugin (according to the server.log entries)

@FreakyJ could you please provide me some informations on how to install this plugin and make it work?!

Ah, looks like the transcoding service as failed dependency is not packaged in the rar-File.
Is there a version without transcoding service which I can use?
Just want to create/edit/delete recording schedules with aMPdroid ;-)

The linked installer will install everything you need, the rar ist just an incremental update
There are quite deep changes to MP2 especially the Tv plugins.
To make it short: without using the installer in the first post you have no chance

The Installer link is broken but the rar file is working

When using the rar from the first post I get following error message
PluginManager: Plugin 'MP2Extended' cannot be enabled: Plugin dependency 'ac708de3-2e9b-4efa-bb2f-8dd9456f2ff8' is not available

Just copied the contents to the server Plugin directory and restarted the service
