I saw that in the src. Just wanted to know if the logos get also cached somewhere else I wanted to remove all logos to see if brees report is true. That's why I deleted the folder and was happy that it came back. But I didn't know if there is also a client side cache or so. Thanks for the answer

On client side only the ContentManager class does some caching. Once an image resource is allocated, it will be placed to cache. Then during time this cache is cleaned up (old ones removed). This means this cache is only in memory as long the process is running.

Importing running over night, at 50% at 03:00 when Microsoft decided to restart pc. Forgot to change update setting in the VM... I updated the MP2Ext plugin and tested anyway. Thumbs for recordings worked but other things were missing. So I started a new reimport on some shares before I left home.

The laptop is on wifi, guess that is the main reason for slow import.

I guess so too. It performs some IO intensive tasks and Wifi ist just to slow. I needed around 15 min for my 400 odd recordings using GBit LAN

If the WiFi is too slow, I guess messages like the below could also cause the metadata extraction to fail.

Consider increasing the value for the 'analyzeduration' and 'probesize' options

I don't know if increasing those would cause the overall import to become slower.

Logs from installation. Most media were imported before server restart so not in same log files.

I get posters also for series. Streaming to device still don't work. Did a few tries of streaming movies/series/recordings. No mediainfo on movies, will reimport that share now.

I am not at home right now, but yes the above message could be a result from being on wifi. If I were you I would just plug a cable in, do the import and save me a ton of trouble

Haha, it's easier said than done. It's a Macbook Pro(with Win 10 as VM) that don't have a network port. I have the converter thunderbolt to LAN cable at work, will bring home tomorrow and import shares overnight.

I will install on HTPC(i7, gigabit lan, 16 Gb, SSD, win 7) but that I can't do when family uses it.

I'm swamped at work for the next couple of weeks, (it's time for release of new software version and we are behind) but will test MP2Ext when I can.

I can see from the log that ffprobe cannot handle å and ö in the file path. I will look into this.

Reimport of Movies went fine. I suspect that it was photo collection that delayed the import yesterday, it's a huge amount of errors for those.

But now when selecting a movie I almost always get no mediainfo. I get it on one movie but stream on that movie seems to go fine but the video do not play when using the streaming url in video player in MPiV. Logs for the above failing mediainfo.
