    hi m3rcury,

its me again :) Something new happened to me today: I have some movies with more than one backdrop. For each of these movies one of the backdrops was killed and moved to paste bin although the movies are still in db. The other one would stay in the thumbs. Don't know why this would happen now as it was running ok for quiet some time now...

Luca, if you can view your MediaPortal databases, can you look into movingpictures.db3 and check that the deleted images exist in table movie_info, field backdropfullpath.

Sorry m3rcury, I don't know how to do that. If your willing to lead me I'd be happy to learn....
One thing came to my mind: After installing last time I activated cleaning the cache after a week. Maybe it's because of that.

Edit: One more thing: I had my db build last night (2:40 am). So the time the pics got deleted was on first run today (corresponding to my settings). Now this was the first time mpcleaner checking for leftovers with version 1.1.0.4 as I installed this one yesterday late night.

Luca, to find your databases, you need to go to the folder C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\database. There you will find a file called movingpictures.db3. In order to view, you need SQLiteSpy.exe, which can be downloaded from here. Unzip the downloaded file, copy SQLLiteSpy.exe to the above mentioned folder and then double click on movingpictures.db3. When windows asks you to choose program to open db3 with, choose to use the SQLLiteSpy.exe you just copied.

Regarding the cache cleaner, this mainly relates to TV-Series and YouTube.fm as MovingPictures does not have any cache.

Hi, did as you told me. There where no entries for the files in the list. So something must have gone wrong with my import I suppose and mpcleaner worked as it should... I'll do a fresh import with a new db and check.

Edit: yeah, there must be something wrong with my db. secondary backdrops were imported and moved to the thumbs folder but I can't find them in the db. Sorry for the false alarm!

Does MovingPictures support multiple backdrops? If not, only one backdrop path will be in the database, so the other ones will be deleted.

Thats a good question... There is the option to import backdrop.jpg|backdrop1.jpg... like it exists for folder.jpg|folder1.jpg.
And they are moved to the thumbs... But I never checked if there are different backdrops actually shown in movpic... Odd thing is that they have never been deleted before.

Edit: Found something about it in german forums. Link Looks like the feature is in planing but not yet implemented.

    I don't know this option.

Edit: Aha. So one movie, one backdrop.

A new version MPCleaner v1.1.0.6 has been released.

This version was enhanced to make away with the paths screen as it reads these from MediaPortalDirectories.xml. It also now caters for the cleaning of DVDArt which is introduced by this plugin.

    Regards
