Great, thanks.
Do anyone have some good solutions to the following issues when using RARFileSource?
- Subtitles included in the RAR file is not found.
- RARs containing iso's can't be played.
- The Dynamic Refresh Rate feature in MP doesn't pick up media-info, thus the default frame rate is always used.
- Extract media-info when importing.
For 1 and 2 the current solution is to manually extract the contents.
Well RarFileSource is not made for the first two things. It's made for playing media-files without extracting. You will always have to extract subs and iso's if you want to use them.
Extracting media-info is something I also have asked for a few posts up, but In the end I just stopped caring about what it says. It would be nice if it showed the correct information, but it's really not that big of a deal for me anymore.
What you can do is remove all the media-info logos and it won't show anything. You'll loose all that stuff for you regular media-files also, but at least you don't have to see all that wrong information for your rar-files. That's what I did in the beginning, until I re-installed and had to to it again, then I didn't bother.
The third one I did not know actually.
It looks like all development have stopped for this plugin. It's a little shame, but at least it works for what it's supposed to to.
