For me, it's the RefreshRate Changer who breaks me to do the switch.
Why? The MP2 RefreshRate Changer is working pretty well here.

And Powerscheduler not working 100% for me too...
That's nothing MP2 related. It's an issue of both TV Engines, as MP1 PS also is not reliable (at least not on my system)...

Curiously it's working well when I start MP2 at 50hz, but if I start it at 59 or 60hz (what I need here NTSC), RRC is going crazy. It's working perfectly in MP1 at 60 or 59hz.

EDIT: Sorry for the off topic guys, if you want to talk about it, i'll be here

Ok, As I don't have NTSC here in Europe MP2 always starts at 50 Hz... Mostly I need it to change between 50 Hz and 23.976 Hz. And that is working as expected.

Good news here I hope !

i did a lot of test this evening and I found that if I deactivate Windows Aero, I will call it "NTSC refreshrate changing", is working great !
The refreshrate changes and it render 24 fps like it should, the down side, as you know is the tearing. If I reactivate Aero, the RRC is fu&$"! up again.

I hope this result can enlight you for a possible fix (y)

I pushed the test further last evening and, the good news is that I think my problem is not MP2 related because I do have the exact same behavior/stutter in Kodi 14 RC3 as well.

But what's the problem ?!? Could my graphic card too weak to handle your new code for targetting Refresh Rate Change ?

Good that it is probably not code related.

Did you already try to update drivers? Could you try a fresh Windows installation (or booting from another disk)?

    Yep I've try many...

Yep I've try 3 times since I have this problem with MP2 and kodi. MP1 works like charm.

I did fresh install and again, same problem. Since I have the exact same stutter in Kodi, I did some research on their forum and I found the fix!

Unfortunately, it's a fix for Kodi only, but I'm sure you'll be able to do the same for MP2.

Here's the link of the Kodi thread that leads me to their Git.

The fix was to uncheck the "Use a fullscreen window rather than true fullscreen" in settings
