...unfortunately but right now i'm afraid i can only conclude that PS++ 1.2.3.0 is capable of breaking a healthy MP installation on Windows 7 64-bit machine.

Come on - i said i was sorry... I've been a loyal MP user for over 6 years now, surely i don't deserve the silent treatment ;-)

Here's some more interesting facts to go with my two sets of logs above:

- Manually going from Awake state --> S3 sleep --> Awake state etc. etc. using the remote = no problems at all!
- Manually going from Awake state --> Away mode --> Awake state etc. etc. using the remote (by having a TV recording running) = no problems at all!
but...
- Manually going from Awake state --> S3 sleep THEN AUTOMATICALLY from S3 sleep to Away mode (by a scheduled TV recording) = PROBLEM - PC does not go back to S3 sleep after recording is finished (stays stuck in Away mode). When PC is woken up using the remote, Mediaportal client is hung and unresponsive. When MP is closed down via Task Manager the PC goes to S3 sleep straight away like the hung MP was blocking it all along.

Please help?

Thanks
Lee

Sorry, that was not my intention - I am not miffed. The simple truth is that I was some days not at home nor able to access the internet... I will have a look at your posted logs as soon as possible.

    Hi Michael,

I am sorry to give you a hard time with my issue as well but I would be really grateful if you could look into my prob too. I still have those entries for
    Inspecting RemoteClient: AwayMode Requested.
I don't know what to test any more. I made sure that no remote client is in the network and disabled all plugins except ps++ client plugin and 4tr. I still had those after closing MP. The only thing I can say for sure is that I won't have those entries if I disable the ps++ client plugin.
Yesterday I went back to normal powerscheduler and going to standby worked as expected. Unfortunately with this my sys will go to standby right after resume...

    Luca

PS: Can you please elaborate on the inspecting remoteclient feature a little bit so I can investigate a little bit more on myself...

    ...Can anyone spot the problem?
You are running the original PowerScheduler, not PS++. Make sure that you have installed the newest version of PS++. If the problem then still arises, please send new logs.

    @skorz
Your system is busy because a client running MP on a different machine than the server is active and timeshifting (watching live tv or a recorded video).

[quote="Luca Brasi, post: 873780, member: 60220"...send machine to sleep via remote (mp was not running but the entry in away section was still there). Machine went in away mode and I woke it up. Screen returned but the sound is still muted[/quote]Without MP client running, unmuting cannot work, since it is done by the PS++ client plugin.
