Hi,

now it seems to work. I'm using PS++ to handle wake up but let Windows organize when the computer goes to sleep.

    Hi Michael-t

I have updated the plugin (1.2.3.6).
But I still have some problems. Maybe you could help me.

First, I want my htpc to go to stanby mode after 5min idle. So I set 5min in Powerscheduler++.
But Powerscheduler++ doesn't respect my setting. The plug in puts my htpc in standby mode after only 3 min idle.
Exemple : My htpc wakes up every day at 7:00pm for grabing epg (xmltv). So I thought, Powerscheduler++ would put it in stanby mode at 7:05pm and not 7:03. No? (3min it's not enough to update my epg)

Second, I want my htpc to reboot every monday at 6:30am. So It wakes up but after 3 min it goes back to stand by mode, so no reboot.

You can see my tv log.

    Thanks

I would like to verify this. Please restart your tvservice manually (or reboot) and then send me the tv.log file.

    Hi michael_t,

maybe there is a way that your plugin chancel the shutdown command, when a active recording runs ? Because i ask it has often happened to me that i push the shutdown button on my remote and my htpc goes to S3 / S4 and actual runs a record... So my record is gone.

PowerScheduler(++) goes to away mode instead of sleep mode, if you press the power button while a recording is active. But this only works if your power button is mapped to sleep mode (not if it is mapped to hibernate or shutdown). If you use PS++ in Plug&Play mode it will make all required windows power settings for you, so that you do not have to care for those details.

But then my htpc is always in sleep mode (away mode this is ?) or did he goes then in stand by ?

Away mode is no sleep mode (only sound and display are disabled). When the reason for away mode (e.g. the recording) is finished the system will go to sleep mode.
