Problem is, this behavior doesnt show always.
So i restarted mp to make a log for you, but it doesnt show any problems. Tried to reproduce my problem also, but this time around the tv.log also showed that a video is playing and therefore prevented idle. I will attach a mediaportal.log whenever i encounter this problem next time.
a quick q, I just uninstalled PS++ as I'm trying to isolate crashes on resume but now the standard PS in MP config has a problem (has a ! on it)
How can I fix the std PS now?
@michael_t,
1. thanks for your plugin - i finally get rid of that dumb away mode that is really unusable on HTPC without keyboard/mouse.
2. feature request (not sure if it is possible): given:
singleseat with TV.
LiveTv is on -> PowerScheduler can't send HTPC to standby because of it.
pressing Power button sends HTPC to standby;
when resuming - LiveTV continues.
Problem description:
when resuming for scheduled recording, LiveTV continues to show, so after recording is ended, PS still can't send HTPC to standby because of active LiveTV. possible solution:
PS client has to recognize if reason for resuming was scheduled recording, check if LiveTV is active, and if yes - then stop it.
right now i use EventGhost, that checks resume reason. If not from IR remote - then just sends to MP "Stop, Stop" to deactivate LiveTV in any case.
what do you think about it?
