I've tried it with and without quotes but once again, it's not going to sleep and the Realtek High Definition Audio driver is the reason listed in powercfg /requests. I'll restart but if that doesn't fix it I dunno what else to try.
Sigh, it happened again this morning. And the system audio was muted again.

As I said, I had to do several different overrides for it to work with my System. Also, even if your override does have an effect, the corrosponding request is still listed when you run powercfg /requests (bad design by MS I would say).

You might want to set MP to control the main Audio, then you can unmute using the remote...

Hmmm that is silly. I dunno what else to try apart from no quotes and quotes though.

I tried that, it just meant that sometimes my mute and volume buttons did nothing.

With which Version did you try? It should work with 1.3.0 (Beta&RC).

You can vary Upper/Lowercase. Here is my overrides as a sample
    Code:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32>powercfg /requestsoverride
    [SERVICE]
    [PROCESS]
    [DRIVER]
    FileSystem SYSTEM
    \filesystem\srvnet SYSTEM
    \FileSystem SYSTEM
    \srvnet SYSTEM
    srvnet SYSTEM
    /FileSystem/srvnet SYSTEM
But still powercfg /requests shows the following:
    Code:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32>powercfg /requests
    DISPLAY:
    Keine.
    SYSTEM:
    [DRIVER] \FileSystem\srvnet
Von einem aktiven Remoteclient wurden kürzlich Anfragen an diesen Computer gesen
    det.
    [SERVICE] \Device\HarddiskVolume2\Windows\System32\svchost.exe (CryptSvc)
    Remotedesktopdienste-Energiezustandsabfrage
    [DRIVER] Legacykernelaufrufer
    AWAYMODE:
    Keine.
    AUSFÜHRUNG:
    Keine.
    PERFBOOST:
    Keine.
    VOLLBILDVIDEO:
    Keine

A PC cannot wakeup from shutdown (S5 = power off state), only from sleeep mode (S3) or hibernate (S4). But since PS++ has no option to "shutdown", I wonder what you configured.
Basically PS++ should work without any user configuration (except the EPG wakeup times) in Plug&Play mode. If your PC does not work correctly with S3 (sleep mode), you have to switch to expert mode, uncheck the "Apply recommended windows power settings for selected profile automatically" option and set the Windows power settings (button "Configure Manually") to hibernate instead of sleep mode.

I don't understand this... Of course a PC can wake up, after you click on "Shutdown" in Windows. Why should this not work? It works with any PC I ever used and also with any Notebook I ever used.

My HTPC has no problems with standby, hibernate, etc. but MediaPortal. I want to shutdown my HTPC as I do with every PC, Notebook, etc. I had no problems with this. If I use standby, etc. then MediaPortal crashes on reactivating my HTPC. Or, if it is not crashed, the Fullscreen Window of MediaPortal is only 1/4 of its original size.

is this working with djblu custom data grabber plugin and 1.3rc as using the plug and play i get no wake timers for anything, epg, scheduled recordings, any ideas?
using windows 7 x64 and all works fine until i tried to start saving some pennies by using this plugin to come out of s3 for recording etc, the system goes to sleep fine but does not pick up any schedules? i installed it via the dl on page 1.

I added the lower case versions to powercfg -requestsoverride and also the "Legacy Kernel Caller" (whatever that is). Still didn't help. What I've done now is disable the Realtek High Definition Audio device completely. I don't need it anyway (since the TV uses the nVidia HDMI Audio device) so we'll see if that fixes it. >_>

PowerScheduler++ is working with MP 1.3 RC, but I do not know anything about djblu's plugin. And: I do not know which dll files you installed, but you should definitively use the MPEI installer with the stable version to install PS++. If you then experience an error with PowerScheduler++ please send logs!

PowerScheduler(++) does not support a programmatic wakeup from S5.

There should be no such errors, but if you experience any, you should post an error description with logs to the appropriate thread (depending on your version) and you will be helped.
