Hi.
It would be great to have a working MP2 client plugin. Did not need fancy config options, simply keep MP1 TV Server awake as long as the MP2 client uses it.
But I do not know MP2
I'm no dev but after that what Chefkoch and Morpheus say it should be easier to write MP2 plugins than MP1 plugins. I'm pretty sure both of them are more than willing to help you get the first steps in right direction.
It might be easier, but that does not say much. The greatest problem I think ist the very special two-way remoting between PS client and server which I am sure is not compatible with MP2...

    Hi.

i am using PowerScheduler++ 1.3.0.0 and have it configured to force the system to standby (S3) if there is no actifity for 5 minutes (advanced tab).
Now i would not go to S3, my HTPC should power off (shutdown) -> because i have an SSD (so boot is fast) and some trouble with other plugins on standby.

    Is this possible?

    thx

It will be possible with the next version, but there is no (general) way to "reanimate" a powered off pc, so it will not wakeup for recordings again...

    Did the tests again.
Thank you, I know what is happening now and I am thinking of a workaround...

EDIT: New version which should solve your problem ready for testing

    Hey Michael.

You are right that its hard to power on an PC which is switched off (without external hardware impossible).
I have an Silverstone Case which has an IR receiver. The receiver has an output to the Power Button cable .
Also i am running JUST the client on this HTPC.

So this feature would be cool

If you have an test version, just let me know.

    thx for this Great plugin
