Hi Michael,

I updated to 1.3.0.2 yesterday and after watching some videos my server did not go to standby and ran the whole night and day, I look a look at the log file but I did not find anything that would explain it to me. Can you maybe have a look?

Edit: found it, thanks. htpcinfo in the system tray tried to connect to localhost every minute or so...

Thanks,
Oliver

I tried to install 1.3.0.2 just now on my setup and it gives me an error message saying `error in script cant stop tv service` now this happens even if i have already disabled the tv service myself and the install just stops there, in extensions its then listed as installed but under plugins its not there ?
logs attached.

Prevent sleep based on audio output. In the same way you can have it detect a network share it would be good if it could detect audio output being played. The use case is listening to spotify (or similar). I can't list spotify as an application to look for and prevent shutdown as its always there and hence would the PC never shut down. I'm looking for it to stay on while a play list is playing. But when it stops, then we're good to shutdown (or hibernate etc)

Sounds interesting - but I guess spotify should prevent sleep when it is playing media. Do you use MP to force sleep or do you let windows manage sleep? If it is the first option, you might want to reconsider.

Thank you for the logs, but MPEI provides no log output that would help us here. The only thing I would have recommended to you is stopping the tvservice manually, but this you did already. So I am sorry, but I have no idea...

I had exactly the same problem. Manual stopping of the TV Server didn't solved it, but i found a solution.
The install script always complained that it was not able to stop the TV Service or to start it.

Here is what i did. In the Windows System configuration i switched the startup type of the TV Service to manual, so it wont come up automatically on startup. Then i rebooted and installed PS++. After the install was complete i switch back to Automatic startup. And what a wonder PS++ works.

think this may have caused the issue - allow this device to wake the computer, and now i have a server running as well it was waking this machine due to activity on the network i presume.

Only found this thanks to the logs produced by mediaportal, and then looking into the event logs where the wake time matched the event and told me what was waking the machine. First time ive used the logs myself and found the issue :D
