Is there any information available how the two PowerSchedulers (MP + TVserver) interact on a single seat setup. What I want to achive is quite simple:

1.) The computer should go to hibernate when 15 min idle on MP homesecreen.
2.) The computer should wake up for recordings.

What do I have to configure at which PowerScheduler?

I found the questions here a few times but no definetly answer.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

grubi.

There is not only the forum but also a quite big wiki for media portal. The power scheduler in conjunction with the TV Server is described in detail here: http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/PowerScheduler

Please look for "Processes" in this wiki. You have to add a process that prevents standby/hibernate. I use e.g. my browser "firefox.exe". I open the browser and then the TV Setup. Now you can add the process "firefox.exe" to the configuration. From now on, the PC will not enter standby as long as firefox is running. You can do that with every executable.

I always read the wiki and search the forum before posting questions ;-), but the wiki does not answer my question how the two PowerSchedulers interact and influence each other. I also found this querstion unanswered here in the forum.

So as you add "firefox.exe" as process to the config did you also with "mediaportal.exe"?
From what I found out "idle" for the TVServer's pwscheduler only refers to TVserver's activities meaning that it will bring down the machine while you listen to music in MP.

Nope, if you have installed a single-seat installation you can listen to music, watch movies and so on without having the TV Server going to standby. The powersheduler client plugin detects any action within MediaPortal and prevents standby by TV Server

I checked it again and it does not work reliable? Sometimes the machine is going to hibernate even if MP is loaded and not in HomeScreen.

I had the problem in single-seat setup, that Mp went to standby, when I was watching Divx movies.

I fixed that with the WindowsScreensaver plugin.
In my setup the wakeup is not working properly, I am still figuring out, why.

    I have the same problem.
If you find out how to make the system wakeup properly please let me know.

The system wakes up but then no recording will occur.

Well, it works for me since some weeks and I didn't have any false positives in this time. So, uhm, maybe your configuration is not perfect?
Can you make screenshots of all the powersheduler screens - both on TV-Server and client - and let us take a look?
