Re: PowerScheduler++ Test Versions - 1.1.7.1 for MP 1.2.0 Beta

hi, is there a work around for the system being muted after away mode?
I tried using PS ++ to run nircmd.exe command to unmute after wakeup but it does not work.(but the nircmd command works when I run it not from PS++)

At the moment I have to exit MP unmute and restart MP.. On a HTPC that does not had a keyboard.

    any other ideas?

I run the bat file with the NirCMD command, with the windows scedular.
The scedular runs the file when the machine awakes from standby. The trigger is a power event nr.1
    This works perfect!

Thank for the reply, but mine still doesnt work. In windows sched ive set it to activate when logging the power event.. Is this what you meant?

MP is not in use, so I can look it up and be more clear...
    • I created a new task and called it "Unmute system after wake up/boot".
    • Than I created two triggers when to run.
      • At log in of any user
      • At an event!
        • Logbook: system
        • source: Power-troubleshooter
        • event-id: 1
    • To define the action I set to run the unmute.bat
      • Start program
      • Program/script: unmute.bat
      • Start in: C:\NirCMD
I have my unmute.bat file placed in a new folder in the root of the C-drive called NirCMD.

I think you will manage now...:)

    Good luck.

I want to use Win7's power settings to put my PC into Hibernation (or do so manually), but have PowerScheduler++ wake it up for recordings. Should this work (i.e, with "PowerScheduler++ forces system to go to standby when idle" unticked and "Wakeup system for various events" ticked") as it didn't when I tested earlier with a recording scheduled for 19:00?

I installed PS++ with the MP 1.2.0.0 beta, almost everything is working fine e.g. system is going to S3 after 5min etc....

...but there is one certain thing not working: system is not waking up for recording :(

A funny thing is, that if I wake up system by via remote at the time while a rec should run, the system starts immediately recording it - but of course the beginning of that I wanted to rec is missing.

How can I check further on whats wrong? Is PS++ making an entry somewhere in a kind of taskplaner of win7?

    Michael,

Would it be possible for you to update the installer to work with svn?

    +1
PowerSheduler++ is the only plugin I'm using what did not work with SVN (28130 for me). And I'm desperately missing this as it works like a charm before.

But does it work if you cancel away mode? (not for me anyway).

example: Turn your pc off when recording, pc goes in awaymode. If you come back before the recording finished and you turn it on (from away mode), you'll still have the muted sound problem.
