I have the same problem(almost) in the epg I do get a preview, but only if I'm at the same "page" as the previewed program and the "pointer" is'nt at a sheduled redording, otherwise I get a black box.
In homescreen is there only a black box in the corner while playing, if I pause there is a picture.

    Its hard to explain =/

i´m interested in this is a main skinproblem or a issue from internal tv-engine. after some crashes and bluescreens while trying to record some shows i switched back to rc1. it seems rc1 is the last version where internal tv-engine works fine. sorry for my bad english...

Ok just tried this with RC4 + internal tv, you need TIMESHIFTING enabled to get preview window to work, otherwise nothing shows when in epg or any other screen.

Can someone just confirm that enabling timeshifting solves the issue.
