Problem getting Schedules Direct EPG to load data (1 Viewer)

I have installed version 1.27on MediaPortal and 1.11.0.2 of the Schedules Direct plugin. I scanned my Hauppauge WinTV dualHD tuner. Pulled the following from the TVService log:

How to I run "autotune"?

I can bring up MediaPortal and can view channels, but I have mothing in the program guide.

What do I need to do to get the guide data to load?

Thanks for the reply CyberSimian.

The issue noted in that thread was dealing with Schedules Direct DLLs not being installed in the correct location. I have verified the SchedulesDirectPluginTVE3.dll was installed to the correct folder location.

But the thread you pointed to was very help. I showed me how to stop and start the TVService.

In the following data from the TVService log, it is showing the SchedulesDirect plugin is running, but from the highlighted lines, the logs seems to indicate the problem there are no channels identified to import data for:

Apparently, I have not correctly selected the channel to be imported.

    I have never used Schedules Direct, but do you need to select the channels that you want on the Schedules Direct web site? Or perhaps this is done in the Schedules Direct plugin? It would seem sensible to me that you select the specific channels that you want, as this would avoid downloading the EPG for channels that are of no interest to you.

    Of course, you might think that the channels that you have selected for the MP EPG are the ones that you want to download from Schedules Direct, but MP has the ability to use different EPG sources for different groups of channels. Hence maybe there is this extra step of you having manually to select the channels that you want? Note: this is merely speculation from me! :eek:

    Apparently, I have not correctly selected the channel to be imported.
    Have you selected the correct data format on the Schedules Direct web site?

    For the USA and Canada, the EPG data can be provided by SD in XML format or JSON format. XML format is the old style, and JSON format is the new style. Unfortunately, the TV Server plugin can process only XML format. If you are in fact downloading JSON format, that might explain why the plugin finds no channels.
