Hi,

I need help.
When I program a tv recording my htpc starts from hibernate and starts the tv recording. Unfortunaly only 10 to 20 first minutes are really recorded!!!! Nevertheless the "REC" icone is displayed all the time the recording.
I don't understand. the signal is strong.
I had the same problem with mp1.02.

Could you help me?

I update my htpc with mprc2 and I still have the problem.
yesterday I programmed 2 tv recordings:
1st "Au coeur de la legion etrangere" 20h30 (26/04/2010): no problem
2nd "esprits criminels" 23h10 (26/04/2010): Only the first six minutes were recorded

I can't find any indication in your logs that something is going wrong.

At 00:15:00.718750 recording is stopped, both in the controller and the TsWriter. I don't see anything special logged before that or already after 6 minutes.

Hopefully somebody else can come up with a solution.

If you try to play that recording file in external player (for examle MPCHC) it is six minutes length too or not?

No change. Six minutes lenght too with MPC. The file is small : only 220mo.

How much space do you have on your recording drive? Could this be the problem?

Is there anything 'unusual' about your system? There is bound to be something weird going on, and it only seems to affect you (I think) so there is a fair chance that it is not actually a MP problem as such, although maybe there is an error that is not being caught.
