Hi,

..the devs have decided, that only one skin is icluded in mp as default skin.

So there is no chance to have PM III as default skin.

In my opinion it was better to have more skins inside, with different designs, so we have had in the past.
But unfortunately the Decision is there, so no chance for that.

I have ajusted the MyRadioLastFM.xml file for the fantastic new Last.FM streamed radio plugin (in latest SVN) rtv is writing for PMIII.

To reduce DL-size, I guess. Was there ever any discussion/poll over this?

Makes things less user-friendly, IMO; first DL updates, plugins, etc. - then DL and update the skin for each time.

I would agree that all skins should not be included, but two or three - I mean; how much would the impact on filesize be?

The only skins that are freq. updated (as of now) is B2, PMIII and (to some extent) Razor, I belive....

Harley, great skin port. Very impressive.

I think it would be a perfect skin if you changed the big 'MP' on the home page to the MediaPortal logo (in black chrome or something) and used the same font in XBMC under the logo to spell out 'MediaPortal'. Just a suggestion.

My thought excactly... but I am such a big admirer of Harley's skins, I did not dare suggest it...

Bram: Does this mean we (the many PMIII users) have to:
- update SVN
- update skin
- download skin patches

?


Harley: In latest ver. (w/BASS-engine) I can't use the "suggested tracks" in "now playing"-screen. Bug?
