Thanks Catavolt for all the great work. The fresher selection of backgrounds for TV, Weather etc are great.
TV Guide is more mellow, I like it.
And I'm not sure, but did you add subtle shadowing to the section titles in the Basic Home screen? Seems to make the highlighted titles pop more.
Do you have a listing of the changes to look for in 3.9? A bit easier to check them out that way.

THx tamvegas, here a (small) overview of the upcoming changes for PVHD 3.9 (and Blue as well):
Changes:

* New styled and better readable logos for media info (with big THX to Tgx)
* Support for Intelligent Frame Correction 2.0.1 (if installed it is accessible via GUI Settings -> TV)
* Support for Extensions 0.0.5.0 (if installed it is accessible via GUI Settings -> General)
* Full Support for MediaTip 0.4.5
* Added support for Category images in MovingPictures
* Redesign of NowPlaying screens (Lyrics button now moved to bottom of screen, placeholders like track # or "" for album titles are now invisible if no respective values)
* Redesign of TVGuide (more space for program info text as required by a lot of users)
* Partially new HiRes Backdrops for TV, Weather, Music, Pictures etc. in BasicHome
* Redesign of IMDB/OFDB screens (now shown as menus)
* Slight animation for the buttons in OSDs and topbar for even better recognition of select status
* Enhanced the aura for the buttons so selected button is clearly visible
* All menus now also have an decent aura
* Menu titles are now centered
* A lot of small glitches fixed (to many to list them here

Hmm, strange... tested again... same result... ok, will restart my box later and see again..

Did you check the "i" button to the right of the selected Series/episode (click right on remote/keyboard or hover with mouse)

Mossi: I f nothing helps, try this: Delete completely the PVHD folder from skin directory. Install PVHD new. Clear the skin cache and restart MP.

Is this a replacement, alternative or option? If its a replacement or alternative layout then I'd call it something other than PureVisionHD, perhaps PurVisionHD-Horizontal.

Hmm, that´s the question. May be I release this version as PureVisionHD Horizontal - as you stated. I don´t know whether the majority of the users would like this layout or would like to stay with the "standard" layout.
Hope I´ll receive some more opinions
