Hi Michael, for the hint. This is because a still not correct working shadow function in listviews (fadelabel). I will work on a solution (have to disable shadows in listview)
EDIT: Could you please try to edit common.facade.music.xml and replace <control> with <control Style="NoShadow"> (line 12) above the entry <description>listcontrol</description>?

Issue with GUI-scaling in PureVisionHD 4.5 (16:9)

Hi there,

I have an issue with PureVisionHD 16:9 (Version 4.5).

When I compress the GUI-size vertically a little bit (via Settings --> General --> Screen setup --> UI Calibration) e.g. to [0,32] - [1920,1006] the handles of the
clock-widget in the left upper half of the home screen "fall apart".
It's looks like the clock gets disassembled
Is it a (known) bug or a feature

I remeber that on PureVsion 4.4 I had some other issues when the GUI was squeezed vertically, but at the moment can't remember and reproduce these.

I have to do this squeezing of the GUI-size because I have a 21:9 TV-set where the best viewmode cuts off a little bit of the upper and lower part of the picture to minimize distortion when stretching a 16:9 picture to 21:9.
If I don't squeeze the GUI, I can't see the topbar anymore and many features/informations of PurevisionHD are cut off or become invisible for me.

Anyway, a big to Catavolt for this beautiful and impressive skin.
It's a pleasure every time I start MP.

Hi Roger (assume that´s your first name), in fact this is really a known bug. When changing the UI calibration MP does not scale correct in some areas - one of them is the analog clock. We are working on it to improve the skin engine and hopefully we can fix this. Sorry I can´t give you another answer

Hey Catavolt,

I updated to your latest version and you improved the volumeindicatior (the little stripes in the left corner if you increase or decrase the volume), but the backgroun behind the stripes is a bit to large. The idea is very good, but maybe it should match the maximum amount of stripes

I hope you know what I mean and it would be very nice if you could imrpove it a bit

Otherwise I'm very happy with your skin and I hope you will make one for MP 2, too =)

I will install PurevisionHD on my PC. Until now I use StreamedMP which i must deinstall before install PurevisionHD , right ?


And then I am a little bit confused because in the Introduction of the 4.5 it is recommanded to use 1.2 Alpha

I dont wont to use a Alphaversion.

- Which Version of PurevisionHD may I install for MP 1.1.1 Final ?
- Is there a WIKI how to configure that ?

You don't need to "deinstall" StreamedMP; you can have many skins installed you just need to select which one you want to use in the control panel.

You can use Purevision 4.3 or 4.4 with MP 1.1.1 final.
And you don't need to uninstall StreamedMP, you can have several skins installed together.
