Hi jestermgee I´m sure you don´t have MP 1.2.0 RC1 installed - may be 1.2.0 Beta which makes a big difference in the MPEI installer.
MP 1.2.0 RC1 will be released on Monday

Hi catavolt!

Big for Version 4.7! I have not found the time, to make a full test, but i have noticed some possible issues!

1. Installation only works after reboot of the pc! A similar issue was reported in Backdrop thread some time ago -> Link! First installation fails after un-/ticking the plugins! After cancelling installation and rebooting, all is working as exspected! Screenshots are attached, unfortunatley no log entries!

2. overlapping -> please take a look at the screenshot!

3. mymusicplayingnow -> I am missing album title and year! -> Screenshot

Hi Michael, for your evaluation.
Regarding your points:
1. Seems the installer has a problem installing fonts.
2. Will have a look and change position/fadelabel length. Could you please try attached xml?
3. The infos are now shown as fadelabels in the top line - just wait a bit - the infos are shown

just want to inform you that MediaPortal 1.2.0 RC has been released and is ready to download.

Yep, right you are. Been away from MP for a long while and have just got to upgrading everything. Bit of a hard place to navigate round to get the info you need (these forums) as opposed to other places I have been. Finally found the RC2 release (only after the announcement was posted on the main page).

Just reworking the TV OSDs to make them less cluttered without loosing information.
What do you think about the solution shown below?

It looks very good, although I would prefer the white background to be a little little bit more transparent and maybe even add the same transparancy to the black background part.
