I would like to be able to sort by date, but also show the duration with seconds in HH : MM : SS format in the list layout. This Unfortunately, I do not see such an option, but there is a lot of unused space (about 25% of the screen) to the left of the file list.

In 10.5 the only option to show the duration (and only in HH : MM format) is to sort by name with duration. But I think that the fact that we can sort by name, date, size does not mean we should not show the other parameters. To me the duration parameter is the most important with seconds included. This is also very important for short videos. And it looks like we have a lot of unused space to the left of the list where you could move the start of the column and add the duration and other parameters like date modified/created at the end, not just the file size.

I can only display what is foreseen in the relevant list view - so it´s not why I don´t want to display, it´s just not foreseen from the MP code for facade properties

To put it simply:

I tested the latest Mediaportal - 1.28 pre-release with two skins.
In PureVisionHD 1080 10.1 there was duration shown no matter which sort option is selected
In PureVisionHD 1080 10.5 the duration is gone from the usual place.

Could you bring the duration back?

Pls tell me which views are you using?
There is a difference between database and folder view
I did not change anything in the facade views

I have done some digging. Inserted the missing #duration into 10.5 common.facade.video.xml, adjusted the textXOff, textYOff and font3 parameters and the screen shows duration now.

Now I know
I removed the common.facade.video.shares.xml and let only the common.facade.video.xml in the PVHD folder.
Forgot that we need both - one for the shares view and one for the database view.
Both xmls have different properties shown in the listviews, so I reverted that change
It will be correct in 10.6, but if you (or anybody else) need it asap, here the ZIP with the corrected XMLs
Just drop the content of the ZIP into your PVHD folder (overwrite) - and that´s it
BTW: In database views now the release year of the movie is also shown in the list view

Are you saying that it is not possible to show in shares view the file name, duration, size and modified date all at the same time, similar to Windows Explorer and we can only show date or size and not both?
