Sorry if you are already aware of this, but TV Series just released a new version V2.2 3339. It appears that some skin changes are required. Does this affect PureVisionHDX?

jwdaigle and all the other users of PureVision Wide skins: Just finished to update the relevant files for PureVisionHD and PureVisionHDX. PureVisionHDX will be released this afternoon with the new version number 2.2 to keep up with the latest versioning of the PV skins. It will support ALL new functions of TVSeries 2.2.xxxx (e.g. action menu, change layouts within GUI etc.).
Will post the xmls for PureVisionHD a bit later in the afternoon.

To use this skinfiles, you MUST use the latest MediaPortal SVN 21720 (DL: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...t-02-15-2009-12-22h-revision-21720-rar-54862/) AND the above mentioned release of TVSeries (DL: http://mptvseries.googlecode.com/files/MP-TVSeries-2.2.3339 (SVN TEST).zip).

Error on the home page

Hello,

I love the looks of the new skin and it works great for me except for one small thing. I have the latest SVN and I followed your instructions but the home page is not displaying the weather info or the RSS. Please see attached image. This would not bother me if I could just remove the errors from the page.

Do you have the plugins in the correct place...

DELIVERED PLUGINS:
There are some plugins you MUST use for the correct functioning of PureVisionHDX 2.2.
These plugins are found in the folder "PureVisionHD required plugins".
Copy the delivered Exta Menu.dll, Game Menu.dll and Skin Info.dll into your folder ...\plugins\Windows

RSS and weather info on BasicHome:
Copy the delivered MP-RSSTicker.dll into your folder ...\plugins\process

Make sure that they are also enabled within MP's config.

And of course you have to configure weather with at least one city and configure the rss feed. Look into the ...\PureVisionHDX\Media\RSS for some locations and images.

If you don´t like to see any of those, just delete the line <import>common.rss.xml</import> at the end of the file myhome.xml
