Hi All, I'm trying to install the new skin but keep getting an error "Invalid Pakage", Any suggestions

Not much information to go on, but two things come to mind.
Are your MediaPortal version correct?
Did you see the instructions for the mpe1 file?

thanks for the quick response howerever i did follow the instructions and still get an error
using ver 1.1 beta
Win 7
and i did uninstall the previous version

I just tested it on my Win 7, no problems detected.
I wonder if your download somehow got corrupted?

ok i think it is the SVN version 1.0.4 23491 but when i start up media portal it shows 1.1

in the about it shows ver 1.0.4.23491 but when i start media portal it shows 1.1 could this be the issue and would i have to reinstll MP?

1.1 does indeed show as 1.0.4 in the log file.
So if you want to install at least the SVN version as noted in that previous link, it should work.

Hi Catavolt! I want to ask you, is a new release of your skin - 3.5 contains a fixed fonts.xml file to load skin with russian characters or not (According to MAX_T testing)? Should I wait for next release?
