Hi Baron,
just got a PM from Micropolis with the answer why you (and all the other users) have the problems with the bars in HTPCInfo. Reason was on my side by an up to now not known bug, which I will explain in short:
The different information on the different HTPCInfo screens are displayed depending on the visibility of a dummy control.
Normally you would set the visibility for every item - but for more than 200 items I chosed to save a bit of work and grouped the items together and gave only that group the respective visibility (which was only three lines instead of more than 200).
But this grouping was the reason for the bug. So now I tagged every item with the visibility and voilá, now it works as expected.
Maybe this is a valuable hint for my skinner collegues reading this thread as well
Big to you insisting on getting this fixed D) and another big to Micropolis who spent hours to find out the reason.

Please don't thank me, I only find the problems, you fix them!! Big thanks to you and Metropolis for your work on the HTPC, that works fine now, also many many thanks for the My Lyrics.xml, Colours now fine and Lo' Bigger Text,

Keep getting "Invalid packege!" when trying to start the installer, tried downloading several times and on different computers with different operating systems.....

You have to use MP 1.1. RC1.

Found the problem... I had associated the .mpe1 file to be opened with MPInstaller.exe at some point, changed the accociation to MpeInstaller.exe and voila.... Apparently a fresh install doesn´t change the file associations.

still having the problem with the overlapping text (weather). I know it should be fixed in version 1.5, so my answer is do you know when this version is available. I tried to find it but maybe I'm just too stupid to see it

Hi Scorpie, you have version 1.5 of InfoService already installed if you used the PVHD 3.6. Could you please make a screenshot?

Hui das war schnell,

here we go and another thing. I disabled the feeds but now I have this text under the weather infos and it is not going away. I removed this bar under 3.5 (if you remember) if I do this again, do I still see this text?

Ok this one is solved - the text is gone, but what does it mean, hihi its German but which other services are meant? Cuz I don't have any problems.

But I found something else. I attached a pic, cuz I dont know how to describe that properly. The symbols and the summary are overlapped. Is this wanted? Maybe I need another TV *grins*

And it is nice to have the old dvd cover back.
