Afaik DVDArt is only used in VideoOSD and MovPicOSD, TVOSD is not supported

DVDArt is also working for MP-TVSeries plugin.
And in this case, it's the same video file in TV recorded and in TVSeries.
So, if TVSeries xml is able to display DVDArt, I don't understand why it would not work in TV recorded.
I have deleted the movie file because I look at it so, I will test your xml this afternoon when another file will be recorded.

If you want then more, if display is possible with the MP internal VideoOSD, it should work in MP TV Recorded

Well, if you look at this page: DVDArt Plugin you see in the first paragraph the following:
"A plugin that srapes artwork for DVD cover art, Clear Art, Clear Logo, Backdrops, Banners and Covers of you movie collection in MovingPictures, myVideos, TVSeries and myMusic inside MediaPortal."

That is not possible - all TV items use TVOSDs only (hardcoded of course) because the properties of VideoOSDs and TVOSDs are very different

OK, I thought TVOSDs was able to display pictures existing in \Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\TVSeries

OFC this should be possible giving the full path to the image, but if you look at the image names, how would we determine which image belongs to what series?

I suppose in the same way as MyVideo or TVSeries do it...
