No, idea is OK and I like it, but problem lays inside unprotected Mp code which set values for those boxes and when it came to actors and cast it tries to assign values on null object and exception occur and breaks thumb downloader parallel thread. It's not such a big deal as right now cover grabbing doesn't work very well, but as I'm working on it I just found that eventually.

I installed this skin and now MP doesn't go past "Starting Plugins", IT just closes Tried going back to Streamed MP and it does the same now.

any suggestions?

actually no i didnt. It was very late and I was getting tired. I ended up uninstalling Purevision and Streamed MP worked again. I will try it again tonight and then rebooting as suggested.

How To: Change Menu Style from inside MP GUI

Hi to all,
don´t know if you found out the following:

If you installed the GUI plugin for the MPEI Installer ("Extensions"), you can change the menu style of PureVisionHD from "classic" menu to "horizontal" menu from within MP. To do so, follow these simple steps:

1. Open "Settings->General->Extensions" (Screenshot 1)
2. Select "Views"->Installed Extensions (Screenshot 2)
3. Select "Horizontal Menu" from the list if you are on "classic" menu, otherwise select "Classic Menu" (Screenshot 2)
4. Select "Install" from the menu "Actions" (Screenshot 3)
5. Select "1 1.0.0.0" from menu "Select version to (re)install" (Screenshot 4)
6. Select "Yes" from menu "Notification" (Screenshot 5)
7. The Installer automatically closes MP, installs the new menu style and restarts MP - Voilá

Can't install PureVision 3.9

I tried yesterday to install PureVision but the install just stops without any errors in the middle of copying the files. I have to close it via task manager.

I'm using MP1.1 RC6 on win7

Could it be the installer that don't work or a error in the package??

with the release of 1.1.0 Final it´s also time to release the version 4.0 of the PureVisionHD skins.
PureVisionHD 4.0 is the (finally) finished version with all new HiRes hover images and backgrounds. Also fixed the skin version in reference.xml to 1.1.0.0 to avoid the "incompatible" message when starting MP.

Hmm...

Just tried to install PV4.0 still the same problem. Installer just crashes during copy of the files.
Same happens after upgrade to MP1.1 final

Is there another way of installing the skin?

^It doesn´t crash - it seems to stop for a while but then shows the final message. Have a bit patience and wait until it´s finished! (Same here sometimes, didn´t figure out why it behaves like this. Also Win7 64 Bit).
