Exactly, this is the one I have. SO you mean that you tried but never managed to get it working?. What a shame..... anyway, if you confirm me that I must try IRSS plugin for this remote, I will give it a try.

Just to clarify, MCE is an acronym for Media Centre Edition, which was a version of Windows XP that came with a certain style of remote control. It is a popular type of remote that is just plug and play for MePo. I have three of them off eBay and they work great.

Sorry I can't help with your HP one; remotes are beyond my level of patience.

Why not try MP Config > remote > Microsoft MCE > Use Microsoft MCE remote or keybord
