Hallo,

a have the following problem (not in 1.0.2):

I program a weekdaily tv-show (Mo-Fr).
If I have a look under 'timer', everything is fine.
If I switch to EPG, on some days (Monday in my example) I see no red marking of the show. On other days (Tu-Fr) it is red marked.
Nevertheless, the show on monday is recorded (but not shown in EPG).

Can anyone confirm this bug?

I have seen this on one occasion, and have reported it to the team. Someone is looking at this section of the code, and hopefully such problems will be resolved very soon.

I have seen the same problem for series recordings. No Recording Marker is placed on the TV Guide. I'll post some logs when I get home.

EDIT: Logs attached with Screenshots. I created a weekly schedule to record Skins every Thursday at 22:00 - in Scheduled programs the two upcoming episodes are shown, in the TV Guide neither episode have any marker that they are set to record.

For me the series recording doesn't seem to work at all...
And actually I can't even start manually recording of the episode which is "marked" for recording (but does not appear marked in TV Guide). It simply does not start recording...

EDIT: Ah, stupid me, didn't notice that I have switched on the checking if episode was already recorded (by ep. number)... never used that option before, thus I didn't notice it. And since the series has no ep. numbers, the checker thought the episode was recorded maaaaany times already ;-).

    Bit more investigation:

The icons do not show in TV Guide if the Series Recording is of the type "Record every week at this time", "Record every day at this time", "Record Mon-Fri", "Record Sat-Sun".

If it is "Record once", "Record every time on this channel" or "Record every time on every channel" then the icons do show.

    Hope this helps.

I've seen my copy create totally fictitious markers that match no real timers, a couple of times with this and the previous SVN - luckily they also don't record. I'd bet its the same bug.

And of course its still not possible to set or unset individual episodes of any advanced record schedule, again I'd bet on the same or a closely related bug.

I fixed this for RC2 a couple of weeks ago. When no episode number exists, episodes should be recorded anyway. 0002739: Record by episodes only once not working for episode number - MediaPortal Bugtracker

Is this the same issue as the thread starter posted?
