I got it again. Watched a channel and record it. Switching channel breaks the record. TV Server control tells me, that it is still recording, but the it doesn´t!
Maybe time to start a bug report? What can we do to investigate more?
I have found the root cause of at least one of the reasons that my TV recordings stop: the DirecTV SHEF plugin v1.2 that I am using to control my DirecTV set top boxes does not properly track the clients using a stream. So, if a client tunes to a channel that is being recorded and then subsequently tunes away from that channel, the DirecTV SHEF plugin thinks there is no longer a need for the stream and subsequently turns off the set top box, interrupting the recording.
I suspect you are experiencing a different issue, but nonetheless wanted to follow up with my findings. I will let you know if I experience any further recording interruptions.
