No, the transcoding implementation is completely different and handled by a separate plugin (so it can also be used for a DLNA media server plugin). There's different streaming profiles and only ffmpeg is used.

Is it possible to port it to MPE MP1? Or is it strongly tied to the MP2 engine? Can you tell me where to see it?

I found gpac/mp4box.js solution, need try how it work with MPE urls from Playlists ... Demo test page - MP4Box.js - JavaScript MP4 Reader/Fragmenter

It's pretty closely tied into the MP2 media library so I don't think it would be portable. MediaPortal/MediaPortal-2

What's wrong with the MPExtended streaming server you're using? I did a bit of work on it back in the day (e.g. I implemented the ffmpeg hls handler) so know my way round it a bit and might be able to help you out.

At me on PC (Chrome) and on Android (Chrome):

• Not work profiles based on FFmpeg at all ... maybe problem in Web Player, may be problem in Stream server ...
• Not work TV Recording in Direct profile ... And some Movies ...
• Not work Watch TV at all (all profiles)...
