Found a bug in your mtn.exe
You use the configured row value from configuration.exe as column value, and the column value as row value.

Which in my case leads to a vertically split thumbnail rather than horizontaly split.

To test this new mtn, i have simply inverted the values in configuration.exe now too.

I do not agree.
1x1, 2x2, etc. means squeezed screenshots of the video.

1 column 2 rows -> perfect! next to no distortion.

Have been stress testing your MTN version yesterday and it works perfectly!
mtn never failed to generate thumbs for me, but it did crash quite frequently when entering folders with many videos inside.

No crash with yours.

Would you agree to also provide the sourcecode of your mtn.exe?
