I like the new vista style graphics in the Replicant Vista Edition very much.
Is it possible to put them to the Revision Skin too?
Can I handle this by myself and how?
It is possible, all you need to do is replace which ever graphics you want to change with any new ones you would like. Look for the files starting with "hover", these are the main ones, but there are also some plugin specific files as well. After you change a gfx file you will need to delete the ReVision folder in MP cache folder if you are using v0.2.2.0 + SVN or v0.2.3.0, delete the packedgfx*.* files in the ReVision folder if you are using 0.2.2.0 stable.
Currently I'm sorting out the bugs that have been reported and adding support for requested plugins .
I use ReVision and love it. Great work.
But i have one Problem.
At fullscreen (MyTV), the transparent guide is very hard to read. View attachment 8137View attachment 8138
Are there more people who have this problem, like me?
Can I tweak some thing to solve this?
Reduce opacity, change colors or what ever.
I found nothing about that in the forum and wiki.
For a while I've been experimenting a bit with a personally flavoured mod of ReVision. As I am trying to create a really dark background I called it DarkVision for the moment.
After checking out the new Core skin, I thought those submenus were a really cool idea. The Spinsafe Revolve already had something way more 'fancy', but I prefer to stick to ReVision.
And so I started having a look at how the Core skin made the submenus and developed my own basichome.xml with submenus for a few things. It is an almost shameless rip of Core code, main difference is that submenus don't appear automatically (which I took would not look nice on ReVivant) but only when you click down (sorry for those mouse-users).
Currently the submenu is text-only and a copy of Core-skin.
Bring it on Furetto, and while you're at it if you could replace the icons with the vista style ones,I think mpfrank and I would be all over it! I like the submenus alot, so definitely would use revision w/them if you added.
