One thing I would like to mention now, on the basichome.xml page under settings tab can u add a menu to enable use to shutdown computer, sleep, hybernate & close mediaportal. That feature would complete basichome nicely.

those functions are in the topbar... i could make it in the settings aswell, but would contain 4 more buttons :x

Hi,

Found some issues when viewing on my plasma (1024 x 768 res)

see the screenshots

EDIT: IF I change my TV resolution to 1080i all the issues with text being cut off or mashed together are solved. Still leaves issues with the bugs described in the screenshots though.

Erm - this is a widescreen skin right?
10240 * 768 is not widescreen, hence the layout issues...

the mouse issue is noted in other skins... Don't use a mouse

I don't use a mouse either, was just putting out the issue!

The original monochrome fits 1024 x 768 perfectly, as this looks like it is based off of monochrome it should be fairly easy to support it?

If it's alot of work to do I will have to run my tv in 1080i mode, but then text is harder to read.

EDIT: oh and the basichome and moving pictures fit my screen perfectly! so its just my tvseries plugin

hehe i have even more shows stored on external hardrive, do u want me to see if I get any odd problems if i add more?

Would be super sweat if u could fix those bugs, only seems to be tv series that is a problem. Moving pics seems fine apart from no highlight on film title.

hey elkay. seems nice... two thing... the country and city i would maybe make a bit bigger and maybe move the clock and date up ... there is a lot of wasted space up over the frame. keep in mind that that the text shouldn't be to small since its viewed on distance normally.. but indeed. niceness... maybe moving the 5 days weather images down to be centeret on the menu bar

i noticed you have the date 20:20 and meanwhile lower (under the frame) the time again to be 20:54... wtf ?

This is when the weather-data was updated.
