Question: Should this be the default or do we need an additional config switch to turn on reading of embedded covers? I would like to avoid it.

For me it is working great and the performance is awesome. I think it should be defult. Temp folder is cleared as exspected!

Thanks, but that wasn't the problem. Somehow Mediaportal.exe couldn't be overwritten. Reboot fixed it.

Thanks for testing. Now that we know that performance is ok, there's no need for an extra config switch.

As we don't have a problem getting the pics, i would suggest implementing the same logic for Database related queries as well.

Hi hwahrmann,

Using titan skin, pressing X (full screen/viz) shows me a coverart/thumb which is cycling.
Using titan skin, the during playback the miniview (i.e. in main menu) doesnt show the same coverart.

Are these things skin related?

1. Shares View or Folder view is the way, where you select different folders in your Music Share that you defined in config.
Database view access the database, which has been populated by a scan of the music share / folder and allows to select tracks based on tags, like Artist, Album, etc.

2. Yes, it shows embedded images BUT currently only in Shares View. I will implement the handling of database views, when i am back from my business trip by the end of the month

Can I also implement that handling in NowPlaying screen, e. g. that the embedded cover appears as the cd case? The argument "#Play.Current.Thumb" doesn't work.
