Just an update restored a fresh image and applied your patch. So far no clicking so all is good! I think this clicking may of been caused by kiddies playing with the amp as I reset that too. Unfortunately I cant prove it so they are all still breathing! Maybe next time

    Hi Seb
I've recieved my card from the repairshop and all is good (on my hardware end)

I've done a quick test and switching from HD to SD is working great execpt that I get no CC on H264 vid as suspected.

reading the other fourm (north america cc) and I'm suspecting that when CC is not working there (1080i) is really the H264)

note: close caption does display when using 720/1080 Mpeg2

    closed caption eia-708 is for H264 (mepg4)
closed caption eia-608 is for Mpeg2

    Hi Vff :)

Effectively, CoreCCParser works only with Mpeg2 stream and not with H264 and like we use it to get CC for Digital, on H264 stream CoreCCParser is not use and so no CC sub at all :(.

Maybe another filter can do the job ?
    Thanks,
    Seb.

    Hi,

I have sucessfully to get closed caption to work with H.264 HD video using .ts format with ccExtractor as it shows CC through EIA-708. We need someone to build a EIA-708 directshow filter to work with line 21.

CoreCCParser filter only support EIA-608 which is for analog only :(

Hope we can get a solution here soon

    Cheers,

    Hi,

It's needed to work on filter, i manage to accept connection from h264 stream on Core CC Parser, but like i was supposed, it was not enough.
I think it's needed to implement the h264 analyse stream but it's out of my competence.
If anyone is interested, i have VS2010 compatible source for CoreCCParser :)
    Thanks :)
