right and i can just drop these over the top of my existing files presumably under Program files\team mediaportal\ ?

got it working by replacing all the files i could find thanks, what is the second splitter selection for btw should i set that to lav splitter too?

Yep just replace files and set LAV for both (or other filter if you want to force it like haali / AvSplitter).
So for Splitter Option set it LAV Splitter to both place, in fact it's to use LAV Splitter as source filter and if LAV source didn't go and then it's "File Source Async" filter in use, the second option force to load LAV Splitter after "File Source Async" .
Maybe i'm not clear lol.
Best Option is to set LAV to both option .

yes, i use the test build of 1.2.3 . After installing the version 6 i get an error.
