Hi, it looks like I have the same problem as Frank-NL, sometimes when I try to enter the plugin, MP crashes and there is nothing in the log, maybe I shall try with the new beta, I think I'm using beta 6 now, and see if there is some more logging. If I see any more loggong I upload the logs here.

I do also use SAF, but I think that Rockstar should work with that.

If you can reproduce the problem, then also try disabling Spotify (and Grooveshark and Last.Fm if enabled) and then try to reproduce.

You mean that I shall disable the Rockstar plugin? If I do that then I dont think that I can reproduce the problem, because it happens when I select Rockstar in MP.

Where have you configured this "5 speakers" option? Have you enabled "Upmix stereo to 5.1 / 7.1" in MP Configuration -> Music ?

EDIT: Currently Rockstar ignores the "Upmix stereo to 5.1 / 7.1" setting (and other settings too in Music configuration) so this is probably the reason you get stereo sound.

I have enabled "Upmix stereo to 5.1 / 7.1" in MP Configuration -> Music and also set the Monogram AAC Decoder and the MPC - MPA Decoder to 5.1 channels.

Are there any plans to support the "Upmix stereo to 5.1 / 7.1" setting in Rockstar?

A really nice plugin you got there!

Unfortunately I have an issue. I have setup MP to use ASIO (Bass Player) in conjunction with ASIO4ALL to a acheive bitperfect playback. With this setup RockStar fails to start playback. If I disable ASIO everything works.

No, do not disable the plugin. You can disable Spotify support individually in the configuration where you set your username and password. Also, disable Grooveshark and Last.Fm if you have those enabled.

Have you tried 2.1 Beta6 (attached few posts back)?

Tried 2.1 Beta7, exactly the same problem. No more info in the log.

It would require some work to make this happen. Unfortunately the BASS player Mediaportal has is not suitable for my use and therefore all those fancy settings are not supported in Rockstar.

Tried 2.1 Beta7, exactly the same problem. No more info in the log.

What I said above goes here as well. Unfortunately the Mediaportal ASIO part interferes with the playback in Rockstar and therefore the playback does not work at all.
