You wont be able to use a PVR-350 output when using MP.
Generally though it goes: (Worst -> Best)
Composite (r,w,y) -> svideo -> scart -> component -> vga -> dvi (or HDCP)

Califo: what i didn't quite understand is svideo to scart, by this do you actually are thinking RGB?
Because Scart is just an European connector which supports composite, svideo and rgb + sound.

To other people reading about this 'issue', Doskabouter provided me with a fix/patch. It is a modified version of tswriter.ax which solved the problem with dolby digital plus audio.

OK....perhaps impatient of me I know, but went for a full reinstall....and now up and running once more.

Have used MP1.38 64 successfully since it's introduction.....now something has changed.
Video folders are still present.....but now...
I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ?
MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo.
